There are several principles located in this trio of techniques.  Perhaps the most important is that of controlling the space.  Notice that with the corkscrew and the rollover, as soon as the opponent tries to create space, I capture it back.  Also, in the rollover, I only give my opponent as much space as is needed to get him/her to do what I want him/her to do.  With the rear naked choke, I control the space totally; not giving my opponent anything with which to work with.

Another great principle is the use of pain compliance to get the opponent to react in a way which is advantageous for me.  Also, the use of pinning the opponent's arm to his ribcage in both the rollover and the rear naked choke are great examples of exhausting your opponent throughout the conflict.

Finally, don't forget about the principles of escape and evasion.  All three of these techniques make for wonderful opportunities to disengage and escape.

Always remember to train on the mechanics first, then move on to passive resistance, active resistance, and finally randori.

I look forward to your questions and comments.
