       A.  Differences between jutaijutsu and jujutsu
            1.  Mechanics differ
            2.  Entry differs
            3.  Movement differs
       B.  Similarities between jutaijutsu and jujutsu
            1.  Principles are exactly the same
            2.  Muso dori is defined by the position of opponent's arm, not your mechanics

  II.  Escaping juji gatame
       A.  Prior to having your arm locked out:
            1.  Keep elbow bent to try and prevent juji gatame
            2.  Throw same side leg over opposite leg to begin spinning your body
            3.  Continue to spin over your free shoulder
            4.  End in a seiza position with all pressure released from your arm

 III.  Ju ku:  Muso dori
       A.  Mechanics
            1.  As opponent rolls, maintain control of opponent's wrist with both hands
            2.  Widen your legs to allow opponent to move into your guard
            3.  When comfortable, change the grip of your bottom hand
                 a.  As if you are trying to pull the opponent
            4.  Lean forward to your side
                 a.  Place opponent's palm flat on the ground
                 b.  Will provide needed momentum
            5.  Knee into opponent's elbow to cause bend
                 a.  Use momentum from opponent's forward motion
                 b.  Use momentum from rocking backwards
                 c.  Use momentum from knee strike
            6.  Angle off 45 degrees as you rock backward
                 a.  This prevents opponent from headbutting you
                 b.  Provides optimum angle to perform muso dori
            7.  Apply do jime with your legs
            8.  Reach over opponent's arm with your free arm and grab your wrist
                 a.  Natural bone alignment provides a secure lock
            9.  Rotate opponent's arm away from his/her back
       B.  Principles
            1.  Using different mechanics to achieve a particular principle
            2.  Using angles on the ground
            3.  Using opponent's momentum

 IV.  Ni ju: scarf-hold reversal
       A.  Mechanics
            1.  Extend you hips to prevent powerful strikes from opponent
            2.  As opponent punches, use your hips to bring opponent forward
                 a.  Much like doing crunches
            3.  Angle 45 degrees out of the way of the strike
            4.  Capture opponent's head and arms wrapping your arm around opponent's neck
            5.  Clasp your hands together
            6.  Use your head to squeeze opponent's arm into his/her neck
            7.  Extend the same side leg to straighten opponent's base leg
            8.  Roll opponent to the free side
       B.  Principles
            1.  Using hips to control opponent
            2.  Using opponent's momentum against him/her
            3.  Angling movement on the ground

  V.  Ni ju ichi:  scarf choke
       A.  Mechanics
            1.  Begin in a mounted scarf hold position
            2.  Jump to the side at a 45 degree angle
            3.  Stay on the balls of your feet
            4.  Angle your body so that your body weight is driven onto opponent's arm
            5.  Squeeze tightly with your arms and head to eliminate all space
            6.  Jump back into the mount position
